Kees, an introvert man, is trying to mend his broken heart. In his daily life, the thoughts about his ex-girlfriend however, continue to defy him. His memories about her are in sheer contrast with reality and hit him hard in the face.

About the director
Thomas Stokmans (Rotterdam, 1986) studied art history with a specialism in contemporary art and curating. His love for film, however, prevailed. Landscape with Two Oaks (2020) is after Father to Son (2019) his second short film that he wrote and directed.
